As well as unpowered and powered sites suitable for every type of tent, caravan or campervan tourer, we have excellent built accommodation including self-contained park motels, standard & ensuite cabins, classic ‘Kiwi Baches’ and family-friendly holiday homes.

A stone’s throw from the shore with grandstand views of the lake and mountains, our Lakefront Lodge is purpose-built for backpacker travellers. It sleeps 78 people in a variety of comfortable rooms ranging from doubles and twins to four- and six-bed dormitories. Self-cater in the well equipped kitchen and relax in the sociable lounge and dining area. The lodge is great for schools and other groups, couples and the individual traveller.

The park has two facilities buildings with toilets, and showers with plenty of hot water. Kitchens feature ovens, microwaves, fridge/freezers and dining tables & chairs, and there are laundries with washing machines and dryers. A large TV lounge has internet kiosks. Other facilities include IAC Wi-fi, bike hire, free backpacker shuttle service, children’s playground, and free BBQs with great lake views – fantastic at sunset.
