At Lake Tekapo Holiday Park we offer a choice of shingle-base or grassed sites for powered campers. Shingle sites are great for larger campervans, motorhomes, RVs, caravans, buses and pop-tops. They also have some of the best views, so if you prefer these please request sites 18–30 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Our grassy sites are ideal for tenters requiring power, as well as campervans, caravans and the like. Please note that some are larger than others, so do let us know your requirements or check out the different size options when you book online.
Communal camping areas such as the lounge, BBQ area and kitchens have a friendly, sociable atmosphere, and are a great place to meet like-minded travellers. Please note that while kitchens feature ovens, cook tops, microwaves and fridge/freezers, you will need to bring your own cookery equipment such as pots, pans & cutlery.
Over our busy period it may not be possible to fit your car and boat on your site, so it may need to be stored elsewhere on site. We recommend you carry a suitable security/locking system for this possibility.

'The views across the lake are spectacular.'
'Lovely campsite, great views of the lake from the campervan. The kids loved being able to run up and down the hill and cross the road to the lake. I loved that I could watch them feed the ducks from the campervan.'
'This was our first time to Lake Tekapo and we really liked the facilities on offer. From the upgraded modern unisex toilets to the slightly older but very clean facilities blocks at the other end of the park. They have a lovely warm TV room, and are close to the hot springs. Staff are friendly, too. We were all very happy with our three night stay on the powered site!'
'This holiday park has a brilliant location. Lake Tekapo is right at you doorstep.'
'We stayed one night in a campervan. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy. The view is amazing, especially the breathtaking sunrise over the lake. I would recommend this place for sure.'
